Anything exciting to share about the Property?

The Queensbury is presently under construction for the expansion of our conference/event space. With this, we will have a dedicated ballroom that can accommodate a banquet upwards of 350 – 450 people and receptions of 700 utilizing the new space and surrounding foyers. Scheduled to be open July 1, 2022.

“I love working in hospitality because I love making people happy. Growing up in tourism I always found that it should be our goal to make the customer happy. This doesn’t mean they are always right, and many times we lose sight that the tourist is our bread and butter. Without them, we do not work. As well, this is an industry where every day is different. Different customer, different needs”.

The Queensbury Hotel in downtown Glens Falls has been regarded as the city’s centerpiece since 1926. Centrally located between Saratoga Springs and Lake George, The Queensbury has had the privilege of welcoming guests from both near and far for over 95 years.

The Queensbury Hotel is a popular hotel choice for families, business travelers, AND celebrities. Well-known performers such as Bob Dylan, Louis Armstrong, and Kenny Rogers have all called The Queensbury Hotel their “home” at one point or another throughout the hotel’s 90+ year history.

The current owner, local businessman Ed Moore, purchased the hotel in 2016. The new management group, Spruce Hospitality, has completed a multi-million dollar renovation project at The Q., with newly renovated guest and event spaces being top priority.

Notable Client Events Hosted at The Queensbury Hotel

NYS Police Chiefs Association, Festival of Trees, Glens Falls Brewfest, LARAC, Chapman Wine & Chocolate, Mountain Lakes Regional EMS

A “perfect day” in the Lake George Area is….

Depending on the season and events going on, breakfast at Park 26 followed by an afternoon boating on Lake George with lunch at one of the lake front restaurants in Bolton Landing. Ending the day with a fabulous dinner and drinks at one of the exceptional restaurants in downtown Glens Falls. We definitely do not have to travel to find adventure, fun and great food.
