Warren County is located in the southern Adirondacks – offering year round activities and attractions and welcoming groups, families and visitors from all over the world!. Beauty and excitement await visitors to the Town of Lake George, well-known as a vacation haven for centuries. Once you’ve been to the top of Prospect Mountain for a breathtaking view of the Lake and mountains, as far away as Vermont and New Hampshire, you’ll understand why it is a popular place. Visit the Old Court House, built in 1845, which still has the original jail in the basement where (it is said) many of the “unhappy guests” still roam. It also houses a museum with war artifacts, a historical book store and library. Main Street is always a bustle as people love to spend time visiting the shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. In the evening, a walk along the waterfront is a must. Discover for yourself a grand destination — Lake George!
